Dvd Shrink

Hi.......Not been doing much as far as backing up DVD's...I got bored at the length of time it used to take.....Then a mate of mine put me onto dvd2one.Used it and it cut the time down by loads,then i tryed "Dvd Shrink"...It did the job even quicker...As anyone used this prog and has got some good pointers to get the best out of it...Any input is OK...

Had a quick test of dvd2one.But im still sticking with CCE it i need to re-encode.I just leave it over night.CCE still give the best quality results, you'll only really see the difference in quality on the longer movies.Im gonna mainly by screen shots ive seen so....

Thanks for that JM....i never realy used that prog your on about.I was more of a TMPGEnc user....But i got well bored at how long my comp was tied up for.....I dont realy do films any more but the odd one or two i do backup i think i will use the newer progs...But glad to see you are still in there doing your stuff...

For Ripping and Encoding dvd's to divx, the best program out there for that is GordianKnot Rip Pack. What makes the program so good is that it has so many options, great features, very powerful and so easy to use. You can find it under the download section at www.doom9.org

www.divx.com has a really good guid on in the "how to " section. Its step by step on setting up the program and they also walk you through ripping a movie.
