half life slowdown

Been playing TFC, but for some reason my character constantly slows down.:confused: Game time runs as normal, it's just my movements which are affected.

It's nothing to do with connection since I get the same thing happening in the main half life game and also on a tfc lan game.

I've renistalled twice and am using the latest updates.

Have got no idea what's going on:(

Anyone experienced this before??

I am sure this sounds stupid but there is a key that you can push/activate to make your guy always walk rather than run. You . I may check that. I usally have my shift key is speed modifier.

could also be sound try getting latest sound drivers

Got latest sound and video drivers.

shift is also my key for walking, but it slows down and speeds up when I walk along with nothing else pressed:confused:

It used to run fine on this same hw/sw setup. I can;t think of anything I've done which would cause this..

Any other ideas:( :confused:

Lol this is the weirdest this . I will look into it and see if I can come up with anything for you.
