Help!!!!How can i change languages in a game!?!?

I ordered max payne from this idiot on ebay...this guy ends up sending me the spanish version instead of the english one..

the games runs fine except its in spanish!!!! and i cannot get back in contact with the guy so im stick with it!!!!!!!


i checked the setup.ini file and it has:


[Languages]
Default=0x0416
count=1

is there anyway i can configure this to make it english?

Yes i think you can try download a language patch from some wear, that's all i know about this topic.

I'm not sure you can change the language... when you have a certain language version, that's it, I don't think you can change it.
You could go to the game designer's website and ask for help.

Yea, I would deffinitly recommend that. Or better yet go buy the game at a retail store and take it back and tell them that the game will not work with your pc and you call tech support and they said that it just won't work after hours of trouble shooting.

Just switch the cds. hehe.. But usally theses games come in multi language but I guess max payne doest. I know they have started that with newer ones. Like i bought on ebay BF 1942 and Road to rome and Raven Shield. ALL FROM THAILAND, but are english.

If you want your money back, contact ebay and tell them what happened. They will give you your money back.
