Whats an daemon image

i got a copy of allied assualt. it installed but still doesnt work. i asked a computer wiz friend and he said to use daemon tools. downloaded that and still doesnt work. he later tells me to use an image(which i have no idea what kind of image). the image has to be a .cue file but i cant figure out on where to find that type of image.

can u help me with that.

Ok ,seriously, I have no idea what I am talking about but here it goes. A cue file usually goes with an image file or .bin file. What a cue file does is.. Ok let me put it this way... You get a cd and rather than copy it to another cd, you load up a program such as nero, Clone Cd Ect. and rip the cd and turn it into one big file called a .bin file or image file.So can then share it on kazaa or whatever. But you can't just later copy that file to a cd. If you have a cue file, you can use a program such as fireburner. What a cuefile does is tells the program where to write and upack all the files and were to write them to on a cd. Sometimes you don't need a cue file. But that is a cue file. They are usally just a few kb.

Some other mg members could help you out more and point you in the right direction. I would but I am at work and am supose to me working lol so I had better get going. Anyways, gl.

You need to make an image of the cd.

With i.e. Nero or Cdrwin

Then load the image file with Daemon Tools.

if u use clone CD or other good burning programs (alcohol 120%,fireburner etc.) u can dump the CD (Not literally empty the CD) in a folder or on ur desktop. it will read the disk and make a .bin and .cue file on the desktop if u put it there. Right click the Daemon tools icon in ur taskbar. Then select Virtual CD/DVD-Rom. then click Device 0 [ ] . then click mount image. find the .cue file u had made. it should load up and u might be able to play it. (u can play with either disk so just make image for disk 1).

Also u can update ur game to latest version and get a NO CD- Crack here. (Remember the crack is and .exe and u have to replace it with ur orginal .exe in the folder u installed MOHAA. So backup the orginal .exe before replacing with the cracked .exe!!)
