It won't start. Whenever I try to start it up I get this error message:

General Protection Fault!

history: FLightManager::Init <- URender::Init <- UGameEngine::Init <- XGameEngineExt::Init <- DDeusExGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine

help!

Ok have you tried reinstalling the game ?! Is it a burnt game with a crack ?! And what computer do you have ?!

Your computer might be to new to run this game if it is a old game like with red alert 1

I'm not sure of the exact specs but...

My computer:

Windows 98
ATI RAdeon 9700 pro Graphics card
AMD athlon (not sure what speed)

they're really the only parts of the computer I know about. Oh, and the demo worked, but the full game won't. I've tried reinstalling, and I bought it yesterday (budget, 'Sold-Out' range, £5)

Try reinstaling, get the latest patches and get the newest drivers for your graphic card and sound card

I've got the latest drivers for everything, I've reinstalled 3 times, and it came as the latest version.

Wahey! Sorted the problem out. I had a goddamned virus. So nayone who gets this problem...run a virus scan!!! I had the W32.pinfi virus...infected EVERY .exe on the computer.

Yea i had a similar error by even running the darn CD! eventually i upgraded to Win Xp and ran some virus scans.. then months later i was bored and for the heck of it. tried to install it.Whoohoo! it worked!:clap: :dance:
