most ppl who do it use a device that plugs into the N64 that takes a snapshot image of the entire contents of the cartridge, thus making a ROM, simple if u have the right hardware :)

remeber that is ilegal to have them unless you own the original cartridges

Not sure about that, some sites with that warning have been shut down.... but MGF doesn't support ROMs anyway.

there are divices as Tone sayed that you plug into your USB port. they look like a small versoin of the N64, and they come with software that remakes all the information so that a Emulator can undersatand and you can play it.

Of course you need a computer with lots of memory just to do that.
I heard that thing is really expensive and you need to buy a program with that.
