Need help about directx.

I have MSI Mainboard with VIA PLE133T CHIPSET and directx ve 9.0.According to mainboard's setup my VGA Memory is 8MB but in directx it shows only 6MB.I am having problems with games and i think thats because directx detects VGA memory only 6MB.

i dont know about the direct x detecting the amount of vga memory, but i think the problems with ur games are a result of the little amount of vga memory, regardless whether its 6 or 8mb.

Yup, soundz like you need a new card in there, just like reisberg says. 6/8mb ain't really enough for most modern games.

According to your specs:

# Supports Intel? Celeron™, Intel? Pentium™ III (including Tualatin), and VIA C3™ processors
# 66/100/133MHz FSB settings
# Integrated AGP 4X graphics core
# Support for PC100/133 SDRAM

U can throw in most modern AGP video cards, so maybe you can either get a new one, or pick one up real cheap on e-bay?
