gta 3 crack/music file transfer?

I have checked the forum postings regarding a way to play gta3 without the disc and the consensus of opinion is that you need to copy the sound files from the disc to the hard drive, but here all clarity ends, i was wandering if anyone knew exactly how to go about it,i.e what files copied to what gta folder? i have found a no-cd crack but it makes all sound applications in game silent and is not what i was looking for. any advice would be gratefully received.........dannyboy

I think all sound files are located on the CD in a folder named "Data" (which is mostly the folder with sound, video's etc for most games)

Copying this entire data folder to the game directory should solve the problem.

Should be enough to copy the Audio folder.

If you can't find it, do a search.

have tried searching for cracks for gta3 and have aquired 4 for version 1 and 3 for version 1.1(patched) only one of these files when applied to the correct version actually start the intro, but i,m always asked to insert disc 2 to proceed with gameplay.
I have tried just copying the audio files to my gta folder and i, ve tried copying everything from the play disc to my gta folder, but always i,m asked for the play disc. information on this game is sparse although there are lots of supposedly working fixed.exe,s and no-cd cracks. HELP!!!!!!!!!11

Get cloneCD. Version 4 or above (which I think everyone should have anyway) and use the Virtual Clone Drive to "mount" the 2nd CD.
Works with every game I know of that has been difficult to crack.

i have the solution . After downloading over 9 seperate cracks i have found one that works. firstly i had to remove my gta patch and install the game as version 1.o then i got the gta 3 1.0 ger/eng myty no cd zip from megagames crack archive(http://www.megagames.com/cgi/download/download.cgi?action=search&category=cracks&search=GRAND.THEFT.AUTO.3.10.GER.ENG.MYTY_no cd zip and unzipped to gta3 folder,also to run the game i double clicked the installed myty_ file in my gta3 directory as using the desktop shortcut for some reason always prompted the "please insert disc2 " instruction.also as molle suggested just copy the audio file from the play disc to the gta audio file on your hard drive.................phew

Make sure when you installed the game that you did the full install (with all music files included) then add the gimprus nocd crack and all will be well :D

GTA3 doesnt has a option to copy music files, they have to be copied manualy, i think you are making confusion with Vice City Tone :p
