didn't realize hotmail had that kind of protection on it. I've never had an issue along those lines. If their servers are like the ones where I work, the password message may reset after a certain time period. Other than that I would contact their service department... if they have one.

Yeah, it should just time out after a couple of hours, and U can retry.
U can always mail support@hotmail.com - though I doubt U'll get an answer - lol

They give that error when someone has tried several times to insert a password, but used the wrong one...
I don't want to scare you, but this mostly happens when someone tries to brute force your account. Brute forcing is a hacking method with which a program tries all possible combinations of letters and numbers on your account till the correct combination is used so that it can login. You should really ask hotmail to reset your password.
You should go here (http://memberservices.passport.net/), if you still can't recover your password, you can indeed try to contact the hotmail support... they will ask you some information about you (where you live, when you last checked in, etc) and eventually, they'll reset your password.

When you go to login, just put your screen name in the click on the 'Forgot your password' link, then it asks you to put your 'secret answer' in from your 'secret question', then it will let you in.
:)
yes bet when i do that it says "your ac++++y is teperearly closed so other cant figure out your pasword"
