Half-Life CD Key generator question

If I get a CD Key off of a HL CD Key generator, will I be able to play multyplayer! (I need CS!!!)

You need a unique CD-Key in order to play the game online. And the only way to get a unique CD-key is by buying the game.
I'm afraid that if you lost your original CD key, the only option is to re-buy the game :(

I did buy HL in a bundle w/ opposing force and TFC, but a friend stole the CD and lost it so I'm borrowing another friend's HL CD!!!

I still have TFC and Opposing Force though, so could I use their CD keys?

As long as its not currently being used, it should work. It has to be unique though.

Also, how come you are posting with two usernames?

Getting serials that are not yours, will work when you play singleplayer games. But for multiplayers, you need a key that has never been used online before.

If you bought the 'bundle', then each game will have it's own CD KEY. And as far as I know, each will only work with it's own game. (You can't play CS with an Op Force key) At least that's the way it used to work.

If you are borrowing your mates CD, then use the key supplied with that. Else if he uses the online features too, Buy a new CD mate, I don't think it's that expensive these days :rolleyes:
