Nintendo's Wavebirds are the best, I was upstairs one time and it still worked! You don't have to have the controller turned toward the machine because it is so powerful. The Wavebird rules.

i do not really care for wireless controllers as i have my gamecube hooked right up to the ati tv wounder on my computer, but i guess the controller could help not getting tangled up. you see, the wireless controller is one of those things the company sells just to make money - in most cases you would never actually use the thing for its intended porpous.
