For a start i would like to say that to all people who listen to rap because it is "cool", and wont listen to anythin else is just plain narrow-minded.

Just because i like rap does not mean that i want or feel the need to "fit in"....i simply like the beat and the tune, and maybe the lyrics that accompany it.

Sure the rap scene has declined into young, arrogant men with too much money too spend, and all they rap about is their *****es and crystaalll.... but some of them have a good hook to them, which is what i like.

I also enjoy listening to linkin park, the white stripes, techno, hard house etc. But only because i ENJOY listening to them.

I wouldn't really call it that though, to me it seems that rap has become like modern day dance club music, shallow with no real substance to it.(eg. Lil' Romeo: he's like what ..... 10? JEEEEEEEZE! What can he possibly have to rap about? I don't understand how people would spend money to buy it!) It's "trendy noise that people like to have in thier cars".
