I have being doing a forum with a friend today just thought i would you show guys and gals.

MOST stupid mistake!!!!

Its ok to have a few more when its big but it makes the forum look small and users absoloutly hate it.

Its like the 2nd rule to running a forum.

personally I wouldnt join a forum unless it had discussion areas on everything I wanted to talk about...

graphics stuff, mobile phones, downloading progs e.g. kazaa, pretty much anything really - just lots of different areas.... makes it more interesting.

So you want a forum with no idea what its a forum about? That makes it disorganised.

The idea is that people are "clever" enought to understand, if there aint a forum for what you want, then post it in the most relevant folder. :doh:

yes but if a forum had 2 areas: games and pc hardware then 8/10 things posted would not be releveant to the thread title.

you need to have enough forums for people to be able to post, I think it has nothing to do with intellience...:rolleyes:

Thats why you have a "General Chat" or "Anything Else" forum.
