Help with Emperor : Battle for dune

Hi Guys,
I'm having a problem trying to make a playable backup copy of Emperor: battle for dune. I have wasted 6 cds so far and i just don't get it. I'm using clone cd and it will install but it won't boot or play. What kind of crack should i use? No cd or fixed exe...and which one did you use to make a working backup and where can i find it. Any advise you could give me would be really helpful.....i can't get safedisc to work under Winxp:( Thanks

No CD crack, game fix, fixed exe, etc = same thing.

What type of burner do you have? Is it actually "compatible" with Clone CD?

By the way, the only protection this game has is CD Checks. If I'm not mistaken, I don't think it has Safedisc like you mentioned.

Worse case scenario, you should be able to just do a straight burn and apply the fix after installing it.

What happens when you try to install from your backup?

Clonecd has a habit of not making good backups of games that are not protected.

I don't know what version(s) of Clone you've used, or what CD hardware you have, but until SecuRom 4.8+, EVERYTHING (protected or not) was always copied perfectly over here in CL Land. :)

Huh?? Here at the MGF Security Agency ( :rolleyes: ) as well. Just do it at low speed (4x or even 2x).

Never had problems with CloneCD, it copies everything, except that pesky SeruROM infection. I only use Nero to burn images or MP3 files :)
