Hello all, I have been trying to get this too work for a few hours now but still I am having no luck. Starting to get frustrated >:(
Anyway heres my problem and maybe you guys can help me out.
First off im running the game on a P4 even tho it says im running p3. I have no idea why its saying that. My OS is XP with DX 9.
The startup text (on bottom of message) that I copied is from ONLY after I modified the runact.cfg file by placing the # sign where it needs to be. By doing this the game would try to start but run in a window form, then have the error and not continue.
Then I deleted the "doomconfig.cfg" file as I was told to do by many sites. This time it tried to start the game in full screen. (could not copy text from this startup) And once again it went to the tan screen with no console or anything at all showing.
I think that the problem might be where the startup says this:
"WARNING: vertex array range in virtual memory (SLOW)
idVertexCache: allocated 96468992 megs of virtual memory"
or this
"ERROR: GL_SelectTexture: unit = 1"
Im not sure what these mean exactly but they dont seem to be good :)
