Has anybody tried this legal downloading thing yet?
I signed up for the free offer and have tried to get some Robbie Williams for the misses.
I D/l'd 3 tracks and none of 'em work. According to the web site I have everything set up as it should be but windows media player tells me to go away (you know what I mean).
Any ideas, except sticking to Kazaa lite?

Yo! That's what this MTV Digital Downloads is. You get 300 credits to play with. Took a week for them to comfirm my registration and their "tech support" don't seem to answer emails.
There are so many stories about kazaa and the likes being monitored and people getting into the brown smelly stuff I thought I'd give it a try, but so far it seems crap.
Kazaa Lite still my favourite.

It is possible to be traced and prosecuted while using kazaa - (it has happened) because downloading copyrighted material and keeping it, is illegal.

But with over 4.5million people online at once - the authorities have a pretty hard time knowing who is breaking the law, and if they are - how to catch them.
