problems simcity4000 pc restarts help!

hi there !
I just got today my copy of simcity 4000 and as I usually do, I backup my game already and try to install. After installing the game, and launching it. After choosing the area I wanted to start with... it loads the files but then it restarts on its own !!! What's going on ??? I install 3 times and the same thing happened. I got a Radeon 9700 pro AIW with latest catalyst 6:.14:1.6307 ( which I presume it's the latest one ) I need help here pleaseeeeeee
