Just wondering if anyone on here uses bittorrent to download files?

If anyone does are there any sites you would recommend for torrent downloads?

P.S. If your wondering bittorrent is a P2P network. However files you want to download can't be found by searching in the program you find them on websites hosting the files and you then download from the host and/or other uses downloading that file.

Looks like it has a central server.. thats going to get shut down before you can blink...

this think looks rubbish. Kazaa is the only p2p network for me! :D

it isn't an alternative to kazaa or imesh thats for sure however I am currently downloading a file at 16kb/s which I found on kazaa and got - "more sources needed".

Personally I use Kazaa as my main download application with DC and bittorrent as alternatives if I can't download a file from kazaa.

well it depends on the files - I was downloding a film a few days ago on kazaa at 57Kb/s.. :D

Of course it depends on the file and if i got a good download speed on all the files I want in kazaa i'd never use another program. But you can't so i'll have to go else where for some files.

I would sugest not using BitTorrent. Its ok to use some times like for movies or TV shows, I dont normaly see ones with Warez but i do know of some but you will have to find them your self, I would recomend paying $10 to go onto the SomethingAwful fourms and going into there BitTorrent Forums section, They have dome good links to places. The draw back to BitTorrent is sometimes links are dead, and you also have to upload at the same time which can suck for people who dont have ADSL. In the long run use DC++ for all your downloads.

I don't like anything that insalls without giving me any options or info. The thing wont un-install either so it's gone straight into my recycle bin.
Kazaa Lite for me and if that's the best you can come up with Russ, get your own avatar!!!!!! lol.....
