well i got problems with this "missing cameo".....what can i do to recover all unit such as sukhoi jet,hover carrier.and second is bout the patch.well if u install the patch....my building will explode in 30 second so what can i do to fix it?

Is this Red Alert 2 or Generals? I know stupid question but I had the exact same problem with Generals when I used the no-cd crack and then tried the online play feature with in the game. It detected I was using a modified exe and no matter what I did all my buildings exploded after about 30 seconds into the game.

Is this the orginal CD or a backup? If it a backup then I would suggest to patch the orginal. If a "friend" has borrowed the orginal then patch the game and check on mega games website for a no-cd patch or fixed exe for the newest version. Hope that helps at all.

Missing Cameo? It means there is a small icon (on which you have to click in the sidebar) missing. You are probably talking about a modified unit? You have to download such an icon somewhere from the net (or you have to make one yourself) and include these in the redalert2.mix file. It should work then.
have you ever worked with the rules.ini file?

As for the buildings exploding... that's the protection of RA2. You need to install a crack.

I am a mission maker for Red Alert 2. I make entire single player campaigns,... but I SUCK at making new units and cameo's :(
However, I know many people which are really gods in unit making etc for red alert 2. I can suggest you to take a look at this tutorial about unit creation and cameo creation.
